What is Algonize retail POS software?
Algonize is retail POS and inventory management software made by Algoramming Systems Ltd. in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for shops in Bangladesh and worldwide. Yes. Any barcode scanner that types into a text field works. Scan into the Quick Sale search and the matching product or variation is found by its barcode or SKU. Each product and each variation can store its own barcode and SKU.
Yes. Each variation has its own price, discount price, cost, SKU, barcode and stock in every branch, so a shirt in three sizes and four colours stays accurate.
Stock is kept separately for each branch. A sale in one branch deducts stock in that branch only, and the owner can switch between branches or view all branches together on the dashboard.
Yes. Each product has a unit of measure, including kg, gram, litre, metre, yard, dozen and piece, and quantities can be fractional, such as 1.5 kg or 2.25 yards.
Yes. Algonize imports and exports products, categories, customers, vendors and more through Excel spreadsheets with a guided three-step wizard, available in the desktop and mobile apps.
Yes. Every bill records how it was paid: cash, card, mobile banking such as bKash or Nagad, bank transfer, cheque, cash on delivery or online. Yes. Algonize prints to ESC/POS thermal printers in 58, 72 and 80mm over Wi-Fi with no driver setup, and also creates A4 PDF invoices. You choose what appears on the receipt, including your logo, BIN, TIN and a QR code.
Yes. Set your VAT, GST or sales tax percentage and service charge per branch and Algonize adds them to every bill, shows them on the receipt and invoice, and can print your tax numbers such as BIN and TIN. In Bangladesh, Algonize is not an NBR-certified EFD or SDC device, so check with your VAT adviser if you are required to use one.
